Must be willing to work with children ages 6-18 years. Must work under the direction and supervision of the Aquatic/Facilities Manager.
Duties: Work with the Head Swim Coach to provide a positive atmosphere for swimmers, coach assigned swimmers, run daily practices, present at all swim meets, create workout schedules for each day, planning for swim meets, running swim meets, assist with stroke development, demonstrate a positive attitude, represent the Lombard Park District in a positive manner, work with the Parents' Association, enforce pool rules, be responsible for participants, set up and put away equipment, perform additional duties assigned.

The Water Park Manager is responsible for performing a variety of duties ranging from supervising staff to testing pool chemicals to scheduling staff. Certified as a Starfish Aquatics Lifeguard Instructor and as a CPR & First Aid Instructor a plus. Must be 19 years of age or older. Must make good decisions to assure the safety of guests in the facility. May have to work under stressful situations when first-aid or CPR are required. Must work under the supervision of the Aquatic/Facilities Manager.
Duties: Assist in all staff pre-season training, supervise aquatic staff, ensure guests and staff safety, schedule lifeguards and guest service, conduct weekly in-service training, complete all required paperwork, respond calmly in emergency situations, display leadership, enforce pool rules, promote positive guest relations, promote positive working environment for staff, perform additional duties as assigned, guard pool, assist in all maintenance duties, assist in guest services, assist in any special set-ups and take-downs.

Duties: Supervise instructors and his/her teaching techniques, ensure participant and staff safety, schedule instructors, offer instructional techniques, complete required paperwork, order needed supplies, oversee progress reports, complete lesson payroll time cards and total hours each week, assist in emergency situations, act as a liaison between the parents and the Park District, attend weekly manager meetings, oversee the entire facility during lesson hours, promote positive working environment for staff, act in a professional manner at all times, perform additional duties as assigned by the Aquatic/Facilities Manager.

Duties: The Lombard Park District is offering an internship to motivated students working towards a degree within the field of parks and recreation.
