Outdoor Ice Skating

There are currently no outdoor ice rinks available. Danger! For your safety, ice skating is currently NOT PERMITTED on any of our ponds. The ice is very dangerous. 

When weather conditions allow (several days of below freezing temperatures), park district staff will begin flooding the ice rinks. It takes a minimum of three days of below freezing weather to produce safe ice. A daily update on whether the rinks are open or closed will appear on here or on facebook.com/lombardparks.

Weather permitting, ice rinks are flooded at the following locations:

• Sunset Knoll {at the basketball court}
• Lombard Lagoon {Grace Street & Marcus}
• Madison Meadow {Madison Street & Ahrens Avenue}
